Making Money from Your Website

If you are a beginner, you may be thinking of ways that you can make some money from your website - att least enough to cover hosting and domain fees.  Unfortunately, most companies offering affiliate plans or pay per click advertising programs require a certain minimum level of traffic before they will allow their ads on your site.

One exception is Google Adsense.  You can get approval to place Adsense ads on your site even though it may have only a few visitors.  You should perhaps wait until you have written ten or twelve posts before you consider applying to Google.  They will ask you the normal things such as name, sddress, phone number, snd website.  They will also ask for a social security number for use before making payments to you.

Google will review your site to vertfy that it meets their termof service, and will notify you of the decision. After you get initial authorizaion to place Adsense ads on this site, you will be allowed to place them on any of your future sites without requesting additional authorization.
