Color and Web Design

Before you even get your website up and operating, you will begin thinking that the colors aren't quite right, or that certain colors do not look good together.  Perhaps you've seen a website with the exact color combinations you want to mimic.

You could click and view the source code for the page, and try  to decipher the hexadecimal color codes, and what code goes with which color.  There is an easier way and it is free. After searching for and using color wheels, charts and palettes, some free, and some available at nominal cost, I stumbled upon ColorPic.   Now in version 4.1, it is available at the ColorPic website.  A sreenshot of the tool is shown on the left, and a full tutorial of the tool operations and features is available on their website.
