Your website should express your personality and knowledge on whatever subject you choose.  Selecting something which you know nothing about merely to attract advertisers with high paying keywords is usually a losing proposition. 

First, your reader, if searching for information, will already know more than you.  Second, if you know nothing about the subject, you will be required to expend a lot of effort to get something to write about.

This constant search or research is tiring, and soon, you will not enjoy writing and will just give up.  So, choose something you know a lot about, and write regular and interesting articles for your readers.  If you enjoy what you're writing about, your readers will know.  And if they share your interest, they will enjoy reading about their interest from an others perspective

Today, in response to several readers who noticed, I edited the fifth and final post in the series to complete the instructions for installing WordPress on 1and1.com. 

If you have completed the previous five steps in this series, you should now have a working WordPress blog. The instructions may also be modified as required for installation on other hosts.
